decided to treat myself to a trip to ikea, and came home with a new book shelf to house my growing mountain of magazines, which im (in the painful process of) sorting out. pls excuse bad photos, i still dont have a camera. speaking of which, my birthday is just around the corner :))

next project: ceramic painting. mom's gona buy a set of plates for me to decorate. now if only i could afford the paints.

took advantage of spotlight's sale and bought some really good quality paper bags (for 1 dollar!!!) to decorate. used metallic gold acrylic paint to 'glam up' the artwork. first attempt at watercolor poppies failed, pictures below show second attempt which turned out much much better, i think anyway. and whatdoyouknow, it matches my blog background! *like*like*like*

christmas cards were completely sold out at the shop! time to start thinking about lovey dovey designs for all u loved up valentiners!

feeling restless for not doing any craft work in over a month, and having the sudden urge to do ceramic painting and glass painting and just plain old-fashion painting, and of all days, on a sunday, when all shops are closed, and i don't have the proper tools, any tools for that matter.

speaking of craft, mr store manager approached me at work and asked if i were interested in teaching craft/scrapbooking classes at the store, andisaidYES!

moving on, am currently without a camera, and unable to post any photos till mid next month. on the other hand, have been busy designing a new identity for academie etoiles which includes a new logo, business cards, flyers, postcards, advertisements, brochures etc. signing off now with some rough mock-ups.
